The two outer shell components provide additional cushioning in the hindfoot area as well as foot guidance and direct energy return in the mid-and forefoot areas. The integrated carbon reinforcement additionally minimises energy loss and prevents sharp objects from penetrating the sole. The one-piece upper and light-weight tongue eliminate unnecessary seams and thus the risk of friction points. Padding in the collar and heel areas provides an optimum balance of comfort and flexibility. The Lowa Trac sole with its slightly twisted studs provides the requisite traction on all types of terrain and when moving quickly.
